Dogs                                

The main difference between Bed & Biscuit and other facilities is that here, the dogs are able to go outside several times per day. We have 1.5 acres surrounded by six foot fencing and separated into two yards. In these yards, social dogs are allowed to play with other dogs that are similar in size and age. This makes their stay at Bed & Biscuit more like "camp."

We are happy to accommodate geriatric and special needs animals.

Most dogs receive a complimentary bath before going home.

During his stay at Bed & Biscuit, your dog sleeps on a blanket under which, during the colder months, there is a heated floor. If you choose, you may bring a bed or blanket for your dog to sleep on AT YOUR OWN RISK. Though your pet is an angel at home, he may behave differently here. Therefore, bringing that expensive  down filled bed he loves so much, may not be a good idea. He may decide during the night that the expensive bed looks like a yummy snack and chew it to pieces.  If you are concerned that your pet will have a hard time adjusting to being away from home, bring one of your old t-shirts, worn but not washed and we will give it to him along with a blanket to make him feel more secure.

As far as toys and treats are concerned, we have both. If you would prefer, you may bring your own treats for your dog. We provide tennis balls, chew toys, tug toys, etc. for dogs. You are free to bring whatever toys you wish again, AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The basic rule for toys and blankets is as follows: Do NOT bring anything you (or your pet) cannot live without.

Cats   

Cats are taken out of their Kitty Kondos individually throughout the day to be played with and socialized in our office as they choose. Some cats are not "people cats" and thus do not prefer to be cuddled but are still able to come out of their Kitty Kondos.

We provide a blanket for your cat to sleep on in his Kitty Kondo. The blanket policy applies to our feline guests as well as our canine ones. Do NOT bring anything you (or your pet) cannot live without.  If you prefer to bring an article of your clothing, such as a t-shirt, that is worn but not washed to make your cat feel more comfortable, you are welcomed to do so.

We provide treats and toys for cats. If you would prefer, you may bring your own treats.

Misc.                                                           

Also at Bed & Biscuit, you provide us with an appropriate supply of your pet's own food.  The reason we keep your pet on his own diet is to help prevent illness. Also, some animals require a special diet due to allergies, digestive problems or weight management issues.

If your pet requires any medication,  we will administer it for no additional charge.
